David Delruelle is a collage artisti from Bussels. As he made collage, he's always looking for magazines and books in order to find good images for his works. Once he found the "perfect" image, he cuts it out of its context rebuilding a new story just assembling different images with the aim of questioning their origin and real context.
The artist plays with the viewer's perception giving birth to illusions and awesome illustrations, in which a human being becomes a mutant or situations in which he seems to express a will of escape.
At first sight, his work can be seen as an easy positioning of images, but if you look at the whole work of David, you can find several themes of different nature, closely related to our society with coherence instead of banality. I strongly suggest you to take a closer look into his work.
