Primary by Flynn Talbot Friday, May 16, 2014

Today I want to show Primary, a project created by Flynn Talbot, a young guy who is running a specialized lighting design studio in Perth, Australia. He usually designs installations for unique buildings and festivals; with the aim to build an emotional connection, thinking at the human connection.
Primary is a wall installation, with a reference, as you may guess, to the primary colors of light red, green and blue (RGB). As the colors used are three, the installation is illuminated by three LED lighting systems. Three is the key, and defined also the use of triangles - three sides.
The cardboard structure fragments the light, and shows how colors of the three lights are mixed. There is a difference in colors between paint and light, and with this installation Flynn wants to explore the mixing of lights creating a strong connection between objects and light.
Primary is a new exploration in color and light.
