Starlets by Anja Niemi

"We have the tendency to cover up out flaws and decay, hiding all the ugliness of life and I try to have a bit of humor about it."
In her last incredible new series Starlets, Anja Niemi, a Norwegian artist, is working on the idea of the staged narrative combined with the self-portrait; as she made in her older works (Do not disturb, Portrait of the invisible and Porcelain).

A great aspect of her work is that she's working alone, in fact, she refers to herself as a "one-man band", as she always photographs alone.
